UPCYCLED & RECYCLED PACKAGING

True to our sustainable model approach, we choose packaging that minimizes its impact on the environment and tends towards zero waste.

compostable

cases

Our cases are 100% upcycled , from a residue, called bagasse , obtained from the processing of sugar cane and allowing a reasoned management of our planet's resources.

100% made from annual plants, bagasse is the result of an eco-design approach ranging from the cultivation of the raw material to the recycling of the product.

Instead of being incinerated and emitting greenhouse gases, sugar cane residues are recycled into a durable medium : paper.

Rich in cellulose , bagasse is an excellent substitute for wood and thus offers a much more ecological alternative while mitigating deforestation .

Our paper is made in France with the support of certified and responsible suppliers.

It is 100% upcycled and recyclable.

Compared to traditional cardboard:

- Bagasse is an agricultural residue. - By making paper from bagasse, we recover a by-product.

- Renewable plant source over short periods (about 12 months, between 7 and 10 years of cardboard from wood).

- During the process of manufacturing paper with bagasse fibre, less energy is used (lower refining intensity, for example) than for conventional paper made from cellulose fibres.

- Our cases are printed with UV inks which comply with the requirements of the EuPIA Exclusion Policy, which aims to ensure that there is no danger to human health.

Recycled

bottles and jars

Resulting from a collaboration with a major glassmaker, our bottles and jars reach an exceptional recycled material content of 90% while maintaining perfect transparency of the glass:

60% recycled post-consumer recycled (PCR) glass
30% post-industrial recycled glass (PIR)

The use of recycled materials for the production of containers thus allows a reduction of 14.4% of the impact on climate change , with emissions which drop from 0.00504 to 0.00431 Kg of CO2 equivalent per ml of content product.

A significant improvement, in particular on the consumption of water and fossil fuels .

Our accessories, lids and droppers are made of recycled PP (PIR).

- for the dropper of our serum, the percentage is greater than 30%* of recycled PP.

- for the lid of our jar, more than 90%* is made of recycled PP.

* % calculated in relation to the PIR recycled plastic weight (post-industrial recycled) and the total weight of the article
